Hello, I’m Richard, I became a counsellor, psychotherapist and sex therapist in my mature years after a career in the design world in London. Searching for balance, fulfillment and meaning in life has always aroused my curiosity. Engaging in this journey of self development, I realised my personal and human potential IF we look inside and get to know our true selves as best we can.

We are all to some extent dominated by patterns from childhood and traumatic experiences yet we all have possibilities to move on with our lives.

Professionally I am a BACP Accredited counsellor/psychotherapist and COSRT Accredited psychosexual therapist working online via VSee, Zoom or Facetime with adult individuals and couples. I work long and short term with clients on a wide range of mental health and sexual issues.

I have counselled at Kingston University, Surrey County Council and several agencies in central London. In private practice clients self-refer and are referred through the public sector, private health schemes, charities and care advisory services.

I have a wide international client base and range of experience with men and women of all ages (20 upwards) ethnic backgrounds, cultural diversities and sexualities.

My work is bound by a code of ethics as required by the BACP (The British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy) and COSRT (College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists). I am in clinical supervision and attend regular professional development workshops to enhance abilities to work with specific issues.

COSRT approved Diploma in Psychosexual & Relationship therapy. Cancer Counselling Certificate Cancer Counselling Trust. Specialised training in the impact on the family system as well as individuals.
